Amman, April 17 – Zain Jordan, through its Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC), has signed a cooperation agreement with the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) to become a strategic partner of the ‘42 Irbid’ program.
The agreement was signed by CPF’s CEO Dr. Tamam Mango and Zain Jordan’s CEO Fahad Al-Jasim, according to a statement issued by Zain on Thursday.
The ‘42 Irbid’ program builds on the success of ‘42 Amman’ which was launched in 2023 under CPF’s Pathway to Economic Participation. 42 Irbid will serve as a northern extension of the 42 Amman program, aiming to reach youth in Irbid, Mafraq, Jerash, and Ajloun. The program seeks to equip participants with advanced digital and programming skills aligned with labor market demands.
Under the agreement, Zain will equip the ‘42 Irbid’ site with modern computer systems, internet and telecom services, and support in executing awareness and community outreach initiatives. The company will also help cultivate a vibrant programming community by organizing training sessions and activities, particularly at public universities that host Zain’s innovation platforms.
This partnership is part of a broader effort to foster digital literacy and expand youth participation in the technology sector across Jordan.
