Amman, October 1 – As part of its ongoing commitment to instilling values of service-based leadership among youth and equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to drive positive change within their communities, the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) held its annual closing ceremony for the fourth cohort of the Al Hussein Fellowship Program (HFP) on Tuesday.
The event, held under the theme “From Al Hussein Fellowship We Create Opportunities for Leadership”, brought together 46 participants from across all governorates of the Kingdom at the King Hussein Club in Amman. It was attended by a wide network of mentors, local experts, program partners, and supporters.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, CPF noted that HFP, which falls under CPF’s Pathway to Leadership, reflects its core mission and vision: to prepare a generation of youth who are aware of their potential and the opportunities and challenges in their communities. The program aims to equip them with essential leadership skills and knowledge through experiences that expand their perspectives, encourage growth mindsets, and connect them with local and international best practices—empowering them to become agents of positive change based on the principle of “service through leadership.”
Over the course of a year, participants engaged in a comprehensive training journey covering key pillars including critical thinking, leadership development, local and global networking, and capacity building in political, social, and economic fields—as well as in modern technologies and artificial intelligence. As part of the program, participants explored local challenges and opportunities through field visits across all governorates, where they also engaged in volunteer activities.
They received hands-on training and attended specialized workshops delivered in diverse environments in collaboration with local, regional, and international partners. Participants also had the opportunity to network with decision-makers and receive guidance from experienced local mentors.
The program concluded with the “National Challenge” component, which this year focused on the theme of “Government Efficiency and Artificial Intelligence.” Participants worked in teams to develop practical solutions to key national challenges and presented their projects to a panel of experts—bridging theory with practice and showcasing their capacity to deliver innovative solutions.
During the event, several participants shared their personal experiences and the impact the program had on their growth and development, emphasizing its long-term value in their respective fields.
Huda Alawin, a participant from Balqa Governorate, said the program was a turning point for self-discovery and gaining a deeper understanding of her potential. “I’ve learned that real change starts with small steps that can lead to a big impact. Today, I feel empowered with the tools and skills to serve my community, particularly through youth initiatives in the healthcare sector.”
Mohammad Al-Freih, a participant from Ajloun Governorate, emphasized how the program deepened his belief that impact begins with service: “The program enhanced my creative thinking and team spirit to seize opportunities and develop solutions that benefit society. My ambition now is to develop an AI-powered learning system to prepare students for the future of education and global competitiveness.”
HFP offers graduates the opportunity to join the Al Hussein Fellowship Graduate Network, which includes members from all previous cohorts. This network fosters a unified and growing community committed to driving national progress through shared vision, collaboration, and the transformation of individual potential into collective societal impact.
