Amman, Oct. 23 — The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) welcomed a delegation of Japanese students, as part of its School Leadership Program. The program is one of the Foundation’s key initiatives under its Pathway to Leadership and is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Education.
The visit aimed to strengthen cultural and educational exchange between youth in Jordan and Japan, promoting dialogue and cooperation in the areas of education, leadership, and social responsibility.
During the visit, the Japanese delegation was introduced to the Foundation’s programs, initiatives, and opportunities which are designed to empower youth across Jordan’s governorates. The students also met with participants of the School Leadership Program, who had previously taken part who had previously taken part in the program’s cultural exchange initiative in Japan.
Both Jordanian and Japanese students shared their educational and cultural experiences in an open discussion attended by representatives from the Ministries of Education of both countries.
The visit also featured presentations by Jordanian students showcasing how the program enhanced their leadership and teamwork skills, alongside performances by Japanese students highlighting their culture and traditions.
The School Leadership Program seeks to instill the foundations of active citizenship, nationalism, and community engagement among public school students in grades 8 – 11. The program offers workshops and specialized training focused on leadership, teamwork, and volunteerism.
