Amman, February 5 – The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) and DNA Stores, a subsidiary of the Arab Raya Company for Technology and Communications (ARCO), signed an agreement on Wednesday to advance entrepreneurship in Jordan’s innovative products sector.
The three-year agreement, signed by CPF’s CEO Tamam Mango and ARCO’s Managing Partner Yazan Haj Hassan, aims to connect young entrepreneurs with local and regional market channels through DNA Lifestyle stores, which operate in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq, in addition to online platforms.
Under the agreement, entrepreneurs participating in CPF programs – particularly the Makerspace – CPF’s flagship innovation platform and digital fabrication facility (FabLab) – will gain access to broader regional markets, provided their products meet specific standards and market demands. The initiative also seeks to enhance their commercial visibility and strengthen their marketing skills.
DNA Lifestyle stores will provide selected entrepreneurs, chosen by CPF based on specific criteria, with analytical data related to the commercial performance of their products, consumer engagement levels, and market trends, helping them to align their products with consumer needs and strengthen their competitiveness.
Mango highlighted the importance of the partnership, emphasizing its role in promoting local innovation and integrating youth in Jordan into the local and regional market network to expand their economic participation. She noted that the collaboration aligns with CPF’s broader mission to equip youth with the skills and opportunities needed to achieve their ambitions.
Haj Hassan underscored DNA Lifestyle’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Jordan. He stressed that the partnership would create new opportunities for startups, enabling them to expand into regional markets through DNA Lifestyle’s retail ecosystem.
Launched in 2015, the Crown Prince Foundation embodies the vision of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and his dedication to empowering youth in Jordan. The Foundation operates across 26 sites in Jordan, benefiting more than 2.2 million young men and women annually through initiatives spanning economic participation, leadership, and sustainable community development.
DNA Lifestyle stores serve as a platform for launching innovative products and provide a diverse retail selection, including smart devices, technology, audio and photography equipment, video games, books, art supplies, fashion, and event tickets.
