Amman, February 27 – As part of its ongoing efforts to empower youth, the Crown Prince Foundation held two dialogue sessions today, Thursday at its Ajloun Governorate location. The sessions aimed to develop youth’s leadership skills and strengthen their personal and professional capabilities.
Held at the Ajloun Cultural Center, the sessions were attended by youth of various ages and backgrounds. In addition, a wide audience followed the live broadcast on the Foundation’s social media platforms. The sessions were hosted by leadership and self-development expert Salim Sawalha, an executive director in the banking sector.
Sawalha delivered an inspirational presentation titled “How to Be an Inspiring Leader in Your Work and Life”. He focused on the “360-degree leadership” theory, which begins with effective self-leadership. He emphasized that this approach is based on self-awareness, discipline, motivation, continuous development, effective time management, adaptability, resilience, and a growth mindset.
The interactive sessions allowed participants to share their perspectives with Sawalha who addressed their questions and offered insights on leadership and self-improvement.
Ruba Shaaban, a 25-year-old pharmacy graduate, noted that the training sessions provided by the Crown Prince Foundation helped her develop essential professional skills, expand her network, and improve her confidence in public speaking. She emphasized that the leadership concepts discussed during the session complemented her personal experiences.
Similarly, Ali Qudah, a 21-year-old computer science student at Ajloun University College, described the session as enriching, with real-life success stories and insights into self-development and decision-making. He highlighted the importance of such training opportunities in equipping youth with both technical and personal skills.
The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF), which was founded in 2015 under the guidance of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, aims to empower youth through three main pillars: economic participation, leadership, and sustainable community development.
The leadership sessions form part of a broader range of initiatives by the Foundation, which operates across all Jordanian governorates, offering programs in leadership, entrepreneurship, vocational training, and self-development. The Foundation reaches over 2.2 million youth annually, and collaborates with local and regional partners to maximize its impact and create meaningful opportunities.
