Crown Prince Foundation Partners with PwC Middle East to Enhance Volunteering Impact

3 November 2025

Amman, March 6 – The Crown Prince Foundation signed a partnership agreement on Wednesday with PwC Middle East at the company’s headquarters in Amman.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Tamam Mango, CEO of the Crown Prince Foundation, and Michael Orfaly, Territory Senior Partner of PwC in Jordan.

According to a press release issued by the Foundation on Thursday, the partnership aims to collaborate on developing strategies and tools to enhance volunteerism and assess its impact at the national level.

The first phase of the partnership will involve the development of guidelines and tools to prepare a comprehensive volunteer impact report for Jordan. This phase will also include a comprehensive review of current practices, identification of gaps and areas for improvement in similar reporting processes, and the development of monitoring and evaluation tools for the data used in this context.

The statement also confirmed that global benchmarks will be used to identify best practices in reporting related to national priorities. Additionally, tools will be developed to measure the impact of volunteering in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

In the second phase of the partnership, PwC Middle East will work to develop strategies that encourage the private sector to increase its involvement in volunteering activities and enhance volunteer engagement. This includes integrating volunteer reporting into corporate social responsibility (CSR) frameworks, and aligning it with sustainable environmental, social, and governance standards.

The Foundation emphasized the importance of its partnership with PwC Middle East in Jordan, noting that it will play a pivotal role in enhancing the national impact of volunteering, improving reporting practices, and creating a supportive environment for the private sector to actively participate in volunteering and CSR initiatives.

It is worth noting that the Crown Prince Foundation strongly believes in the value of volunteerism and its impact on youth. These efforts culminated in the launch of Nahno—the national youth engagement and volunteering platform—in 2019, with support from UNICEF and in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth.

Since its launch, Nahno has achieved significant milestones, with over 5.6 million volunteer hours, contributed by more than 193,000 volunteers, and in collaboration with over 3,160 organizations from various sectors across Jordan.
