Amman, April 16 – The Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, visited the headquarters of 42 Amman, one of the Crown Prince Foundation’s (CPF) programs, on Tuesday to explore its unique features and facilities.
During his visit, Dr. Mahafzah met with a group of students enrolled in the program and learned about their experience in programming, logical thinking, and teamwork. He praised their ability to learn and grow quickly within a non-traditional educational environment based on self-directed learning and hands-on practice.
He also emphasized the importance of such programs in empowering youth with future-ready skills and reaffirmed their role in strengthening technical education across the Kingdom’s governorates.
During the visit, students at 42 Amman participated in a coding activity using their keyboards and programming skills to simultaneously reboot all devices at the campus, displaying the Jordanian flag across 150 computer screens.
42 Amman is a CPF program under its Pathway to Economic Participation and is implemented in partnership with CHAMS Association, the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, the French Embassy in Jordan, and the Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC). It is implemented by the College of Advanced Vocational Training in Jordan (CAVT), a CPF initiative.
The program is preparing to expand soon with the launch of ‘42 Irbid’, a new branch that will serve a wider pool of applicants from northern governorates, including Irbid, Ramtha, Mafraq, Jerash, and Ajloun.
42 Amman and 42 Irbid are part of the global École 42 network, which includes over 54 campuses in 31 countries. The program follows a unique peer-to-peer, project-based learning model — with no traditional lectures or instructors — promoting collaboration, creativity, and self-paced skill development.
