The College of Advanced Vocational Training in Jordan (CAVT) was launched to ensure a skilled workforce capable of adapting to meet the constantly changing demands of the labor market, through expanding Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Jordan.

CAVT provides quality accredited vocational training across numerous technical occupational fields in line with global trends and changing market needs. The College partners with the local private sector in its various industries for internships, work opportunities, and to adapt trainee programs.
CAVT was established in 2022 and is implemented in collaboration with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, through its Vocational Training Corporation (VTC), and the Federal Republic of Germany through KfW Development Bank.

CAVT has been endorsed as a national initiative to support and develop TVET, and partnered with the Vocational Training Corporation to manage, organize, and develop seven vocational training centers (the “satellites”) across Jordan:
In addition, CAVT is currently constructing its Main Campus at Wadi Al Seer, including the provision of modern equipment, with the aim of becoming a regional hub.

The conditions vary according to the training program’s level. For the professional level, a high school diploma or its equivalent is required. For the skilled level, you have to have completed the tenth grade. For the limited-skilled level, you have to be proficient in reading and writing.

Yes, CAVT provides academic support, practical training, and career guidance to help students achieve their professional goals.
Most CAVT training programs require participants to be between the ages of 16 and 35. However, CAVT offers several short programs for which there is no age requirement.
CAVT’s business incubator is a new initiative to support youth and aid them in transforming their ideas into real entrepreneurial projects. The incubator provides initial funding, specialized training, and ongoing support to build each project step by step.
CAVT’s business incubator offers comprehensive support, including seed funding, specialized entrepreneurship training, and ongoing practical guidance. The goal is to provide all the support needed to help get your project off the ground.
The incubator is for youth aged 18 and above who have an idea or skill that can be turned into a viable entrepreneurial project. The CAVT business incubator is located at the Irbid Female Branch, but is open to youth from all over Jordan.
